Ryan believes the finishing of an image is a very important process in developing a style of photography. From his very distinctive style of Photoshop techniques, Ryan has put together a set of actions that allow the photographer to achieve this high level of finishing in a short period of time. There are over 50 actions in the set, ranging from image enchancement, dress detailing, colour bronzing, skin smoothing, hand colouring, toning effects, black & white and diffusion filters.

When photographers “drag” the shutter by slowing down its speed, they effectively lengthen the exposure in order to create a motion effect. Optionally, a burst of flash can then freeze the primary subject in the foreground.

One stop resource for digital makeup products & retouching techniques for Photoshop.
PURPOSE Mama Shan's Digital Imaging Goodies have been designed to expedite retouching and post-processing time spent on digital images, in Photoshop®. They are also designed to put the control in your hands of finessing various effects. Unless your client insists on "over-retouching" or exaggerated special effects, you should exercise good judgement and strive for images that don't look retouched! Most of time, the best way to do this is to lower the global opacity of the Group/Set that the Action creates, and check the effect of before & after by Option/Alt clicking the visibility icon on/off for the original Background layer.

You can speed up your Adobe Photoshop work by using pre-made Photoshop actions.
They load into Photoshop using the actions palette; then you simply press PLAY to add
that specific action (colour/tone etc) to your photograph.
Most of my actions can be tweaked to however you wish; you can easily adjust the intensity of the action using the opacity.
