Konnichiwa! My name is Jim Atwood and I’m originally from Seattle, Washington USA. In 1993 I quit my job, sold off everything I owned, and took off for Tokyo, Japan. I wanted to get out and see the world and that’s I what I did. I currently reside in Nagano, Japan after spending most of my time living and working in Tokyo. I have travelled to several countries around Asia including Taiwan, Korea, China, Australia, Guam, Japan, and others. Interestingly enough, I didn’t get into photography until little over a year ago. Before that I was mostly involved in video and internet work. With the new advanced digital cameras available today, I thought technology finally was at a point where I felt very excited and comfortable working with it. So, I decided on Nikon and have enjoyed the world of digital photography ever since. Thanks and enjoy! - Jim
